Spilled Tea- Nepo-baby fixation on the rise?

All eyes on the successful children of celebrities on the rise?

Have you noticed a trend in people discussing celebrities children a lot, whether it be trending on social media, news, or in casual conversation? Well you're not the only one, according to news outlets such as NewYork Mag, Today, and other sources the term "Nepo-Baby"has been a term used for the past 3-5 years describing celebrities children's as "someone who rode to fame on the back of their talented parent, often making a name for themselves in the same or adjacent industry." to define further, Nepo is short for nepotism which is defined as "Favoritism/ appointment to a job based on kinship" based on the Merriam Webster Dictionary version.

Some may say its not true, but honestly we could agree that most celebrities that go viral that are the child of another celebrity IS often in fact looked at as "Ohh that's just such and such daughter/son" or "Oh well they have success because of their parents". A lot of children are constantly watched by the masses practically every moment since birth if the parents prefer to post or share content on their social media.

Many children from the 90's era  such as the Mary and Kate Oslen, and Macaualy Culkin, to the present Comb's Twins, Blue Ivy and the twins, North west, Willow and Jaden Smith, Yoshon Wright, Loyal Armani, and many others are constantly trending on social media or in the news for the most minor or smallest infraction or post they make on their personal social content. People are infatuated with the celebrity children so much so that it becomes an obsession for most.

Most do agree with kids being off limits, however when it comes to celebrities children most people seem to always have an opinion.
