Spilled Milk- Biden is on the move again

Biden Signs $1.7 Trillion government Funding Package!

After the house passed the measure on December 23, a day after the senate approved it with a large [bipartisan majority] of votes, 68-29, The house passed it largely along party lines in a 225-201-1 vote. However dig this, the Prez signed the bill on Thursday for $1.7 Trillion to fund the government into next fall and all of this was done while he's spending his New Year's Holiday in St. Croix with his family when the bill was brought to the U.S Virgin Islands.

Biden signed a temporary emergency measure congress ended up passing to keep the government open past an earlier December 23 deadline. The package includes $45 billion in military and economic aid for Ukraine & $38 billion for emergency disaster assistance, including reforms to the Electoral Count Act in response to the "January 6, 2021 attack at the U.S Capitol" clarifying that the vice prez (Kamala Harris) does not have the power to unilaterally overturn the results of a presidential election. Which simply means she won't be able to take over as easily. This spending bill is one of many "wins" since Biden had been in office...
